It provides a single access point to information across all
countries including a network of walk-in centres offering
personalized assistance to researchers moving to another country.
EURAXESS is a key initiative in supporting the commitment of the European Union

The new EURAXESS site brings together four major initiatives which support the
mobility of researchers in Europe:
EURAXESS Jobs replaces the European Researchers Mobility Portal which was created in 2003. A researcher will find a wealth of constantly updated information on job vacancies, funding opportunities and fellowships throughout Europe. Researchers can post their CV online. A company or research institute can post job vacancies and search for CVs of international researchers.
All services are free.

EURAXESS Services is the new face of the ERA-MORE Network launched in 2004. It is a network of more than two hundred centres located in 38 European countries. These centres assist researchers and their families to relocate to another country.
This free personalised service tackles various issues researchers face when moving to, or living in a foreign country: Visas, Work permits, Accommodation, Legal issues, Social security, medical care and taxes, Family support, language lessons, etc. The EURAXESS Services centres are coordinated by the national bridgehead organisation(s) appointed by the Research Ministry in each country.
A list of all Service Centres is available on the European EURAXESS portal. You can find out more about EURAXESS Services in Croatia in our "Practical Information Section" >>
EURAXESS Rights aims at better employment and working conditions for researchers throughout Europe, thereby helping to enhance the attractiveness of European research careers. One of the cornerstones of EURAXESS Rights is the implementation of the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers, guided by the Human Resources Strategy for Researchers. The Charter sets out the rights and duties of researchers, as well as research and funding institutions. The Code aims at ensuring equal treatment of all researchers in Europe and increasing transparency in their recruitment. A full list of organisation who have endorsed the Charter and Code are available on the European EURAXESS portal. Find out more about the Charter and Code >>
Other important areas of EURAXESS Rights are the implementation of the Scientific Visa Package (within the context of Entry conditions) and issues related to social security and pensions for (mobile) researchers. Find out more about these issues in Croatia in our "Practical Information Section" >>
EURAXESS Links is a networking tool for European researchers working outside Europe. It has thus far been launched in the USA, Japan, China, Singapore and India. It provides information about research in Europe, European research policy, opportunities for research funding, for international collaboration and for trans-national mobility.
It focuses on three types of activity: networking of researchers, information dissemination and helping expatriate researchers to collaborate with colleagues in Europe or to return to rewarding careers in Europe. Membership of EURAXESS Links is free. You can find out more through the European EURAXESS portal.
